Request deletion of your MezzBase account

You can request account deletion without installing or keeping the MezzBase app. Staff requests are reviewed by an authorised company administrator; owner requests are handled by MezzBase support.

Submit a request without the app

Email hello@mezzbase.co.uk from your account email address. Include your company name. We will verify your identity before taking action. Never send passwords or identity documents. You may also sign in on this page to submit a tracked request.

What is deleted

After review, we delete your sign-in account and sessions, personal email signature, calendar subscription token, reminder preferences, unsent email drafts and personal notification inbox. Submitting a request does not immediately delete anything.

What may be retained

Business correspondence, job, financial, employment, payroll, leave and audit records, including identity needed to interpret those records, may be retained only for legitimate business, security or legal reasons. Your review outcome explains the retained categories, reason and applicable period or next legal-hold review. Unneeded personal data must be erased before approval.

Review and cancellation

We aim to review requests within 30 days. An administrator records the outcome and retention explanation. Individual deletion has at least 24 hours between approval and processing; you can cancel until processing starts. Contact support if a request is overdue or you cannot sign in.

Company owners

If your company will continue, arrange ownership transfer first. Otherwise deletion uses our protected company process, including a controlled export, independent approval and a recovery window after retention obligations are resolved. Cancelling an account request does not cancel a separate company-deletion process; contact support immediately.

After access ends

Support remains available at hello@mezzbase.co.uk for the outcome or questions about retained data. Minimal request and decision evidence is retained for compliance and security. Deleting an account does not by itself cancel a subscription.
